Theory of Change

Our strategy emanated from the development of a Theory of Change for organisations facing the problem where many Africans with advanced qualifications and university degrees are unable to find employment in the current market.

Through tailored capacity-building programs, we can equip more people to navigate the gaps between the labour market and higher education. This enables young graduates and early-to-mid-career professionals to have extensive access to opportunities for skills acquisition, learning that builds competences. One fundamental reason for graduate unemployment for many higher education graduates across Africa include mismatched skills, lack of soft skills, and the inaccessibility of apprenticeships, internships, and certification programs that companies will accept.

Many graduates leave universities with skills that are not currently accepted in the job market, or they lack important soft skills to manage daily-communication, decision-making processes, and building trust to produce more jobs.
