Employability Competency Development Program (ECDP)
The ECD Program supports a placement of between three to nine months for each trainee at an organisation, government department or a company. The aim is to promote the development of technical skills and competencies, collaborations and networks that will enhance successful integration into the world of work and self-employment; to explore the career option they have studied, fill their skills gaps, and test out the skills and competences acquired.
Once an intern transitions into an alumni, we provide opportunities for ongoing support through mentorship, collaboration, networking, career counselling and leadership.

Currently, the Academy is the one-stop-shop for entrepreneurship and employability skills training for early-and mid-career professionals and young graduates. Employability skills are transferable skills needed by youth to make them employable. In addition to technical understanding and subject knowledge, employers often look for employability (the combination of knowledge, skills, and attitudes) which are limited in the courses offered at the universities. Among other valuable skills, employability skills include communication, interpersonal skills, problem solving skills, critical thinking, using initiative and self-motivation.
Professional Career Development Program (PCDP)
The Professional Career Development Program works with early-to-mid-career professionals and young graduates to acquire skills and competences that will enhance successful integration into businessand labour markets with entrepreneurial and innovative skills. We work
to provide graduates with sufficient practical skills and opportunities in their chosen field/career path to direct engagement with world-class development and humanitarian relief professional and experienced profit and non-profit managers, all with vast theoretical knowledge and hands-on work experience within their fields.
Development Policy Research Program (DPRP)
With its dedicated research wing, the Development Policy Research Program is committed to achieving excellence in research and scholarship and becoming an established home to the most talented quantitative, qualitative and mixed-method researchers from across the globe. It is committed to generating new knowledge, theories or insights about topics of interest and assessing the effectiveness of specific programs, interventions and policies that are relevant to , development-oriented results.

Consulting Services Program (CSP)
As a means of supporting development aid policies and effectiveness of aid in the global south, our Consulting Services Program is involved in the evaluation of development projects, programs and policies using a combination of qualitative, quantitative and mixed-method analyses. Evaluating the worth and efficacy of projects, programs and services is a core component of the services offered by the Academy. With decades of experience, our dedicated staff are grounded in both baseline and endline evaluation methods.
Our staff undertake evaluations of both process and outcomes at different scales and varying timeframes. We support clients to develop evaluation plans and frameworks, while working closely and collaboratively to cultivate their ownership of the evaluation process to ensure that findings and recommendations are useful, practical and relevant.
To ensure practical and impactful solutions, our seasoned professionals and subject matter experts offer specialised consultancy services to businesses and organisations who seek expert guidance in areas such as market analysis, strategic/business planning, project proposal writing, project management, career guidance and counselling and process optimization.
Entrepreneurial Skills Development Programs (ESDP)
The Entrepreneurial Skills Development Program enhances the skills of early-to-mid-career professionals and young graduates to innovate skill development in priority sectors such as agriculture, fisheries, tourism and Information and Communications Technology (ICT).
